"Be who you are,
not what the world tells you"

Time & Space
This was an exploration of the different elements using light painting techniques to create different visual representations of fire, wind and light. The following pictures each explore a different element. From left to right; Light, Fire and Wind. What makes these photos so interesting is how the theme was explored especially with the first and third. It is truly amazing how a mild change like the angle of the object or the type of light used can create a completely different visual effect.
This image is mildly different from the other two shown. Named "Lily Lily Burning Night" it is a homage to the character's name and signature song of the same title as well as a reference to the "flames" that surround her feet. While exploring the element of fire, this particular photo also plays on the idea of light as an element in the form of the light that she holds in her hand. To create this image I used two different LEDs, a bright red one and a pure white one.

Abstraction
The first project for our Abstraction unit, the forced perspective project was fun and exciting. Comprised of two images that originated as a basic concept the project evolved and changed in ways I hadn't expected.
The birth of our planet and the creation of all that the universe offers.

Visual Dischotomies
Where there is light there will always be darkness. This particular piece is a retake of an older design and is meant to illustrate the good and the bad within one's mind and body. The body and mind is illustrated by the green "crown" on top of each heart while the hearts are representative of the soul and internal self.
