About Me

Ishida, is a Mississauga based artist who enjoys working with a multitude of different mediums varying from digital to traditional. She can often be found doodling on the backs of pages or working away on a new project when she's not running around in a costume. Inspired by Japanese anime, manga and culture her art is quite reflective of her love for the fantasial world and incorporates a melding of North American and Japanese styles. Her favorite medium to work with is photography and digital arts as well as the classic pencil and paper when no other means are available.

She is the founder and head administrator of the Burlington Cosplay Community and occasionally works with the team at Microsoft to create fun and exciting events in the local community. Being a cosplayer herself, she is constantly looking for new techniques and methods to make props and outfits and is often designing different outfits.

Ishida enjoys listening to music, reading, drawing (of course), daydreaming, dancing and being an avid gamer. Her room and desk are littered with all different forms of geekdom ranging from figurines to books and proptoys and she often plays Xbox with friends when not indulging in the arts or her 3DS. Her favourite games being the Halo franchise, Assassin’s Creed and Megaman to name but a few.

She loves meeting new people and would love to hear from you! If you feel up to contacting her then please feel free to take a gander at the "Find Me" page located on the top right hand corner.
